Family trees are considered to be historical documents. They often are, but this one is also something more.

When I started to compile this family tree six years ago, the main sources were the parish registers of Estonia and older relatives with well-preserved memories.

Once again – an updated family tree

Kaaman’s and Pruun’s family tree has been updated today. In the twelve months since the last update, the family tree has grown by five newborns.

In addition, some sixty previously unknown relatives were discovered and placed in the right branch of the tree.

My family tree is updated

The family tree of my grandfather, Johannes Kaaman, has been updated.

The family tree of my father’s parents, my grandmother Juliane Pruun and my grandfather Johannes Kaaman – both with their roots in Käsmu in Estonia, is now updated.

The family tree with Preediku Jüri’s descendants, i.e. Kaaman, Männik, Esloon and other families, has increased by 86 individuals since the last update in March 2011. The increase is due to new information both about previously unknown ancient relatives and news of newly-born relatives. … Read More
